I am a member of The Pack, an organizatio founded to provide feedback on the upcoming movie Freeborn, currently in pre-production stages. I've been involved with hundreds of other fans of lycanthropy, advising director Anthony Brownrigg and his associates about what we as fans do and do not want to see in a werewolf film. The end result is that "Devoured," what was originally planned as a direct-to-video B movie, has become Freeborn, a six million dollar production with pending negotiations for a theatrical release.
This link takes you to a teaser done as a demonstration of what the movie will be like. It's not actual footage, as the film has not yet been cast, let alone shot. The person playing Jack is Brownrigg himself, a seasoned actor as well as director. This was done to give both us and prospective investors a taste of things to come.
Note: Freeborn is property of Anthony Brownrigg and Cashel Entertainment, and is not affiliated with my own works or the novel Lycanthrope.
I regret to say at the moment that the original Lycanthrope has been removed from this site for the time being. It has recently been re-edited and expanded, and I hope to make it available in the future as a published novel. At this time, I have yet to begin negotiating with publishers. Check back for updates.

You are free to download and distribute freely without cost copies of Lycanthrope II, offered on this site in rich text format. If you intend to distribute it for profit, I require that you contact me at jcoolidge1@houston.rr.com to negotiate publishing rights. Previously, this novel was offered under the GPL, a programming license. Those terms were poorly defined, and a revision of the license is forthcoming, which will maintain the spirit of freedom and the open source movement.

Version 1: January 1, 2002- I spent the night of New Year's Eve looking for a good host. Bravepages had the best free site, including a good capacity and FTP. I had to redesign the page later that night (or, early next year), because the frame sets looked crappy. (People who complain about ad banners haven't seen them squeezed through the other seven dimentions of the universe.) I did a frameless set of pages for awhile.
Version 1.04-5: July 2002- Minor updates are made to the site, most noticably the addition of a one minute soundbite from a feraliminal lycanthropizer. Do not listen to this while driving or if you have a history of seizures or arrhythmias. Listening to it for one minute generally does nothing, but prolonged listening (15 minutes or longer) allegedly causes repressed animal instincts to surface.
Version 2.0: August 2002- We'll try frames again and see if this works. By doing them vertically, things should fit where they're supposed to go.
Version 3.0: July 2003- OK, the frames were a lousy idea. No one could figure out how they worked, so navigating my site was like trying to find out the truth about Roswell. The site's sponsor banners showed well, but that's about it. (Ever notice during bad weather that the show blips in and out but the commercials come through with digital clarity and THX sound?) I had to link people directly to the stories pages to bypass the confusing intro page and frames. So, I've gone to simple, ever-popular click buttons.
Version 3.01: July 2004- No major change at all, but this update paragraph was added, just to prove that I'm still using this site and it shouldn't be deleted for inactiviy.
Version 3.1: March 2005- Lycanthrope II: Revelations has been added, and victims of the editing process of the second novel were added to the Deleted Scenes and Outtakes section.
